A formal installation service for Dr. Timothy A. Hager as head of the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary of Evangel University will be held Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. in the Seymour Chapel at AGTS.
Dr. Hager holds the title vice president/dean; he began serving in this Cabinet-level position in January.
The timing coincides with the start of Evangel’s annual Homecoming Celebration, when the Board of Trustees and alumni will be in town. The installation service is a formal ceremony where faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends from around the world gather for dedication and celebration.
As dean, Dr. Hager reports on all academic matters to Dr. Mike McCorcle, provost/executive vice president. As vice president, he reports to President Carol Taylor on church and other external relations and fund-development initiatives.
